FAQ

Do file tools upload my files?

No. Converters, compressors, and the PDF and photo editors process files on your device. The file is not uploaded to Free-Utils for those tools.

Do I need an account?

No. File tools work without signing in. Sign-in with Apple or Google is optional when it is available.

What does optional sign-in use?

When you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, Free-Utils receives your name and email address from that provider so we can recognize your account. That information is used only to sign you in.

How do I delete my Free-Utils sign-in data?

Send a deletion request through the suggestion form and say you want your Free-Utils account deleted. You can also revoke Free-Utils access in your Apple or Google account settings. Signing out on a device ends that local session.

See the privacy page. It covers the website, optional sign-in, and the apps.

The app refused a large file or took a long time

Phones have less memory than many computers. Very large files may be refused or take longer. Limits are described in rough size and time ranges so a device stays usable; exact cutoffs depend on the phone and the tool.
